Limited is an emerging miner and exporter of
manganese ore and associated minerals for the steel
making industry.
The company has 4 project areas and plans to bring a number of operations on board as successful exploration permits.
Ant Hill and Sunday Hill are two established resources both on existing mining leases.
The company will commence operations at the companies Ant Hill project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Ant Hill will be in full production in the second half of 2010 at the rate of 350,000 tonnes per annum of Manganese Lump product. Subject to receiving further berthing access in Port Hedland, this will increase to 500,000 tonnes per annum.
The first of 2 trial mining parcels was shipped in October 2009 and the second was shipped in January 2010.
Auvex has a number of exploration leases at Horseshoe Range, Mt Padbury, Mt Egerton in Western Australia and in the Georgina Basin in the Northern Territory.
Exploration has commenced on these areas in 2010 with the aim of bringing on another operation following exploration success.
