Resources Limited intends to establish itself as a
successful miner and exporter of manganese ore and
associated minerals for the steel making industry.
Ant Hill and Sunday Hill are two established projects and are being advanced to an operational status quickly as they already have mining leases. We expect to be in full production by mid-2009.
Horseshoe Range and Mt Padbury two exciting exploration areas.
Auvex has leases in the Northern Territory with outcropping manganese to be explored in the medium to long term.
Waldburg Range with outcropping manganese to be explored in the medium to long term.
It is Auvex’s intention to begin mining and processing from Ant Hill and Sunday Hill at the rate of 215,000 tonnes per annum.
Subject to receiving further berthing access in Port Hedland, this will increase to 500,000 tonnes per annum.
